AfrocareCLT is proud to host its 3rd annual AfroCareCLT Gala, a vibrant celebration of education featuring an authentic African dance troupe, exquisite cuisine by fine-dining Ghanaian Chef Awo, and an art auction. This year’s event highlights a major milestone: the completion and commissioning of a new middle school in Akyeremade, a community just south of Charlotte’s Ghanaian Sister City, Kumasi, funded through Charlotte-based efforts and officially handed over on July 1, 2025. With the school now open, AfrocareCLT is shifting focus to its next goal, raising $30,000 to build a technology lab that will provide students with essential access to digital learning tools and help prepare them for a brighter future.
